The work of Church Ministry can often be very demanding, requiring you to navigate your own personal challenges whilst supporting others. Counselling can offer a space apart, to reflect on yourself with the support of an experienced therapist.
If you are a member of the Anglican clergy working in the Diocese of Chelmsford, you may be able to access confidential counselling support with Counsel for Life though our partnership with the Diocese. Our service has supported many members of the Anglican clergy, and we are here for you too.
Counselling sessions are for you to talk about whatever you need to, whether it relates to your clergy role or your personal life, relationships, wellbeing or faith. Counselling with Counsel for Life is confidential and the few instances where we might need to share information will be discussed with you during your assessment session. No feedback will be given to the Diocese, as Counsel for Life is an independent organisation.
